My husband Gene and I want to extend our sincere thanks to a job well done on our Kitchen Renovation. We were hesitant in choosing a contractor for the fact of all the horror stories we were told by many of our friends of bad experiences that they had in doing renovations on their homes. One thing Mike and his staff had going for them was he came highly recommended from a kitchen decorator we knew. We were still nervous because we had some floor issues but when we met Mike and found out his background in flooring as well as his knowledge in construction we knew we had the right man. We were amazed at how quick and professional he and his staff were in getting our job done on time and on schedule. We appreciated the professional demolition done while containing the dust not to travel throughout our home. We are especially delighted with all the quality workmanship performed.

Mike Iacona and his company, Admired General Contracting, did a superb job for me this year. I needed carpeting and tiling for my living room and kitchen. Mike helped me choose the most practical, while attractive products for my home, as my marina business is connected to my home, and I have a tremendous amount of traffic throughout the house.

All the work was done in a timely manner, and I was pleased to note that Mike's work was neat, and done with precision. There was no debris, and my house was totally clean when he was finished. In addition, his prices were fair as I investigated other companies before I hired his company. My living room and kitchen continue to look great and any spills or accidents are easily cleaned.

Admired Contracting did several remodeling projetcs for me last year.  I called Mike for an estimate to refinish the harwood floors in my kitchen and the next thing I know he was taking care of all my remodeling projects.  From painting inside, outside, power washing and staining deck to installing doors, ceiling fans and troubleshooting some electrical problems - they did it all.  Costs were very competitive, the crews were professional, courteous and on time !  From now on Admired Contracting will be the first I call when I need something done.

"I hired Admired General Contracting to completely renovate my two-family home. This involved all new windows, two complete bathroom guts, two complete kitchen guts, new doors, refinishing hardwood floors, electrical, plumbing, roof patching, painting....

The process was very straightforward and no real big surprises. There are always surprises during major renovation (like a previous owner screwing through the wall into a drain pipe that is discovered when you rip out the whole bathroom) but overall these were few, far between and very minor. If I had a problem Michael would always listen and then take appropriate action to resolve my problem.

I paid basically what I was quoted up front and could not be happier with the quality of work that was done."
